The "JARS OF CLAY" is from 2 COR. 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.”

We are Jars of Clay formed and equipped by God to be useful for Him, to be instruments for Him.

JARS OF CLAY

AliveYouth Baguio Youth Camp 2016

By: Patricia Jorvina

December 17-18 was another joint ministry accomplished by the AliveYouth from Cathedral of the King and Baguio Mission Church.

The youth from COTK traveled from Manila to Sayangan, Benguet for the 2nd Youth Camp of AliveYouth Baguio. Despite the weariness and lack of sleep, we were able to minister to our brethren there. Not only did the youth from both churches learn something new, but we also had a fruitful time with friends. We had teaching sessions, games, group discussions, presentations, and prayer times and we were taught also that to know God is beyond just saying, “Kilala ko na Siya” or “He is good” – HE is more than just an experience and that with prayer and reading His Word, we will get to know Him more. Also, we learned that each individual is an instrument used by the Lord with different functions and that each has a role in the Great Musician’s orchestra.

The 12°-weather was overpowered by the warmth of each one present.

Although time was not enough, we definitely had a wonderful and memorable time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The overall learning is that God loves His people and He was willing to send His Son to restore mankind.

Everyone went home with another pa-baon of God's Word and life lessons.
