“Jesus Security Inc.”

John 17: 12b: “I guarded them, and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” Have you ever thought about the fact that for three and a half years Jesus served as guardian over His disciples? We know that at one time He and satan had a confrontation over Peter (Luke 22: 31); who knows how many similar occurrences there were? But His security never lapsed or failed, and now, from the lofty perspective of Heaven’s throne room, how much more well-guarded are those under His care? (i,e., us!)
