“Tight Squeeze”

Mark 10: 25, 27: “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God ... With men it is impossible, but not with God.” It has been said that there was a place in Jerusalem called ‘the Eye of the Needle’ which was very difficult for traffic to pass through, and it was this place to which Jesus was referring. But that was merely difficult, while Jesus used the word ‘impossible.’ He meant what He said, it is impossible for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God - without His help, that is. But isn’t that true of everyone, regardless of financial position?
