2nd Sunday After Epiphany - Purified in Baptism

Justice is mentioned 3 times in the first 4 verses of Isa 42. See God’s justice this way: He created man in His image and fellowship; that is right. The devil enticed man to sin and tainted that image; that is wrong. God rights the wrong; He sent His Son to heal everyone oppressed by the devil, even if it means suffering injustice. That is simply God’s loving justice: restoring to man what he lost, not punishing him for it.
