“Here’s Why”

Mark 10: 6-8: “But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and the two shall become one flesh.” More and more people are opting to forego marriage and stay single, saying it is a matter of choice. But does God really give most of us that choice? Jesus here gives an exact, precise, word-for-word quote of Genesis 2: 24: God made them male and female, made them for each other, and for this cause – due to this act of God – man and woman come back together, as one flesh, and should be inseparable. To fight this is to fight God.
