“Gentleness of Wisdom”

James 3: 13: “Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.” There’s two words you don’t see used together anymore. Humanity seems to have come to the conclusion that wisdom is known by arrogant, brusque, opinionated rhetoric rammed into our ears and down our throats. That’s not wisdom, it’s just bitter jealousy and selfish ambition. If it’s not pure, peace-loving, reasonable, merciful, fruitful, steadfast, and forthright, it ain’t wisdom. Society needs to learn this very quickly.
