Proclamation of Profitable Vision

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the right path for His Name’s sake.”

In this passage, our Father clearly tells us how much He loves us; how He will take care of our needs and even refresh our wearied and anxious souls. He tells you and me that He is so near to us, guiding us every step of the way. He is watching us always like a shepherd watching his sheep. Though we may feel alone at times, He never leaves our side.

This is exactly what we need to hear nowadays. With our current situation, seemingly unstoppable fear and anxiety creep into our hearts as we hear the number of affected people increasing daily. But our God is telling us not to focus on the things we see with our naked eyes. He wants us to see beyond what human eyes can see.

In I Samuel 16, it says that as the Prophet Samuel saw the height of Eliab, the elder brother of David, he thought Eliab must be the Lord’s anointed. But God said no. God sees not as man sees. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

The Lord want us to see things around through His holiness. We must see beyond the problem; we must see beyond the calamity; we must see beyond the devastation, for beyond these things lies hope. Faith that our loving Shepherd Is always near us, beside us until this very day, will lead us to quiet waters and restore our soul. He wants us to wipe our tears away and look up to Him! As the song goes, “When I look into Your holiness; when I gaze into Your loveliness; when all things that surround become shadows in the light of You ....“ He is right there beside us. He is our Good Shepherd. He will never leave us nor forsake us. And He has even given up His life for us ... the sheep of His pasture.

Our God is telling us to rise up above the situation and see a new horizon and sing a brand new song! The sun will soon rise up through the darkness and in no time ... all will be well. And the glory of God will cover the face of the earth!
