"Men, you are brothers; why do you want to hurt each other?" (Acts 7:26)
Moses addressed this question to two Israelites, brothers not just by ethnicity but by consanguinity, members of the chosen people of God, yet they were fighting and intending to injure one another. One thing sure about any conflict is that both parties are convinced they are right and can justify their position. Based on what? Their own perspective alone.
Let us be involved only in building up and not tearing down. Let us not destroy anyone no matter how reasonable we think it may be. And let us regard others as more important and not seek so much to be understood as to understand them first. That's the Jesus way.
