Easter Saturday, April 15: “Resurrection Praise”
Psalm 145: 5-7:“On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will tell of Your greatness. They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness and will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.”
If praise and worship is not a part of your relationship with God, you need to take a serious look at your relationship with God. Man’s first action in a relationship with God begins with a confession of His sovereignty, and such a confession leads to worship; perhaps it already is worship. And if you have to ask “What should my worship and praise be about?” David is a great one to go to for advice. Worship God for His powerful and awesome acts– Christ’s resurrection, for instance. And go from there.
