Easter Saturday, April 6: “Victory over Dissatisfaction”
Psalm 145: 16, 19:“You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing … He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.”
Dissatisfaction seems to be an inexplicable, universal, yet unavoidable plague upon mankind. If Adam could be dissatisfied in Eden, what chance at satisfaction does anyone have? The key is to have the appropriate desires–which is where our spiritual resurrection comes in. Through being made dead to the desires of the flesh and alive to the desires of the Spirit, we morph our desires to those God has for us. And those desires, He is sure to satisfy–giving us victory over dissatisfaction!
