Friday, August 4: “A Time to Answer”
Psalm 69: 13: “But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, at an acceptable time; O God, in the greatness of Your lovingkindness, answer me with Your saving truth.”
If it seems that the Lord is taking a long time to answer, and you wonder if you’ve missed it, remember this: God isn’t dumb. He made the ear, He made you, and He knows how to get the message to you in a way you will hear and understand. Or, maybe He’s preparing you to receive His answer, because it’s not something you’re ready to hear right now. In that case, when you’re ready, when the circumstances are aligned properly, when the time is right (acceptable), be assured, He will answer–in a way you won’t miss.
