Friday, February 7: “Desires of the Flesh Destroyed”

Galatians 5: 24: “Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

I have heard men preach that this verse is not true; that the desires of the flesh are always there. Later revelations concerning their lives showed they were speaking from personal experience. But does it have to be this way? No, verse 16 must be included in the equation—walk by the Spirit! And stop playing around with those fleshly desires; kill ‘em!
