Friday, January 26: “God Intentions VI”

John 6: 5, 6: “Therefore Jesus, lifting up his eyes and seeing that a large crowd was coming to Him, said to Philip, ‘Where are we to buy bread, so that these may eat?’ This He was saying to test him, for He Himself knew what He was intending to do.”

Be not dismayed when all you see are challenges, obstacles, distresses, or lack. It’s not that God is busy making a plan to see you through; He already knows what He’s going to do. And that plan does not include forgetting about you, leaving you, or standing by passively watching you fall from grace. You may not see what He is going to do–but He does. And what He intends, He does.
