Friday, November 17: “True Light Contrasts”
Revelation 19: 13, 14: “He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His Name is called the Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following him on white horses.”
The True Light, Jesus Christ, the Word of God, wears a robe dipped in blood. The blood is His own, the product of His sacrifice of Himself, which won salvation for all mankind. The robes of those who follow Him, the saints, are white and clean–no blood. That’s because our salvation is in Christ, and not from any works of our own. ‘Nuff said.
