Friday, October 13: “Clear Conviction”
Matthew 9: 28: “When He had entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to Him, ‘Yes, Lord.‘”
Like the blind men coming to Jesus, knowing that He alone could restore their sight, we are drawn by the Holy Spirit when we have been blindly walking down the path of selfishness, stubbornness, or one of a hundred others. The conviction with which He gifts is not a burden unless we ignore it; not a pain unless we reject it. Indeed, it is the key to restored spiritual vision!
