GET TO KNOW COTK ALIVEYOUTH!

How are you, church? A L I V E ! ! !

COTK AliveYouth, nearing its 12th year, has recently launched its new breed of gifted and committed leaders, armed and ready to continue the legacy. (If you want to know more about them, the ministry, and the departments in which you can be involved with, click here:

EJ Diaz of the working group shares with us their mission and vision, the awesome activities awaiting us, and a message of encouragement to all the youth out there:

Complementing the “Christ Alive in Everyone” statement, the AliveYouth staff aims to live out the words, “In my life, BE lifted high.”; that in everything we think, do or say and in all aspects of our lives, we proclaim God’s excellence and prove that He truly is ALIVE. We are called leaders, not to give orders, but primarily to serve and to be at the forefront of the COTK youth in fulfilling the work for His kingdom. We envision the youth having a stronger and more solid relationship with God and with one another.

In line with that, we have prepared many activities for you; most of them done virtually, realizing the need to abide by the health and safety protocols. For the first half of the year, we offer you more youth fellowships, including a DIOCESAN youth gathering, bible studies, worship afternoons, online game shows, and so much more! Truly, nothing can stop us from serving the Lord!

To the youth, we are proud of you for being able to adapt and thrive during these trying times. The past year has been challenging for us; but remember that we’re STRONGER together and with God. We may not see each other often but know that we are here for you. We pray that this pandemic will soon end so that we can all sing praises, enjoy youth camps, and become more active in the kingdom work - all for God’s glory! We love you and we pray for your health and safety! We are all in this together.

Empowering, isn’t it? It makes you want to answer my earlier question with the word, “ALIVE!”.

This 2021, in the midst of all uncertainties, let us remind ourselves that the battle has already been WON. Therefore, we shall get through. Padayon!
