Psalm 66: 10-12:“You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins. You made men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water; yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.” Like many other passages of Scripture, this psalm reminds us that the Lord has His hand on us when things are going our way, and when they are not. He is our Great Shepherd, and He will bring His people into fiery situations (always has) and back out again (always has), all for our good. He even brought us into the net; I guess this online age is His idea after all! (Sorry, a little pre-Christmas humor there)
