January 13, 2025 Daily Dose of Discernment

... a plan for the fulness of time, to unite all things in Christ, things in heaven and things on earth. (Ephesians 1:10)

God's creation was in perfect harmony. Man, His appointed steward of the earth, was in sweet fellowship with His Creator and in solidarity with all other created beings. When man sinned, it disrupted this harmony. But God is not one to give up on the cosmos He loves so much. That is why He intends to bring back its original beauty and His plan is now being revealed. One day this will come to fruition.

The operative agent in creation that God employed was His Son, the same One He will employ in its restoration. When the fullness of time comes, once again there will be the unity of all things in heaven and on earth under the administration of Jesus. In that new world, all will experience righteousness and justice, peace and joy. This project is well underway. We who believe in it and wait in joyful hope for its fullness are called to herald and engender it.
