"The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified." (John 12:23)

What Jesus means here is His passion and death that would take place in a few days. It is going to be a dreadful ordeal, yet He describes it as something glorious.

What we sometimes see as painful or sorrowful, God can turn into something that is life-changing. He causes all things to work together for good. That doesn't take away from the difficulty of the things we need to face, but it assures us that nothing can separate us from His love and we can do all things through His Son who strengthens us. We can be at peace knowing that.
