How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity. (Psalm 32:2)

According to Saint Paul, David’s proclamation in the verse above extends to all men because God in Christ reconciles the world to Himself, and doesn't count their sins against them (2 Corinthians 5:19).

It's unfortunate that in many cases, the purpose of this has been reduced to a matter of securing a spot in an afterlife good place. It's more than that. It's not an end but a beginning, more like a reboot. So that we can resume what God intended at creation. Sin interrupted that, which is why He sent His Son, the Lamb of God, to take away the sin of the world. Now, free from the corruption of sin and death, we can display His image and likeness on earth as angels do in heaven, for all eternity. For from Him, through Him and to Him are all things. That is, everything comes from Him, everything exists through Him, and everything ends up in Him.
