Monday, August 5: “Human Divinity”

John 1: 14: “The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Not only do we see Almighty God on His heavenly throne covered with majesty and strength, we also see Jesus Christ the Word, the only begotten of the Father, clothed with glory–as a man, flesh, living where we live, as we live. Which goes to show just how great that glory is, that even being fully human could not in any way or measure diminish His full divinity.
