Monday, December 30: “Christmas Proclaims: Jesus Does Not Condemn!”

John 8: 11b: “Jesus said, ‘I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on, sin no more.”

As mentioned on December 11, with Jesus Christ, lack of condemnation comes first, followed by a call to sin no more. As Romans 5: 6 puts it, “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.” And Romans 8: 1 clinches the deal by saying “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Christmas and what follows is God bringing this, His plan and intention, to pass.
