Monday, January 27: “Necessary Assembly”

Galatians 1: 1, 2: “Paul, an apostle … and all the brethren who are with me, to the churches of Galatia.”

Jesus sent out His followers two by two. On St. Paul’s first mission he was accompanied by two others, and for all future trips he had numerous co-laborers. He knew the importance of companionship. Even this epistle was not written to a single Church, but to all the Churches in the province of Galatia. Again, we see that it is not good for man to be alone; God made us to work together and live together with others.
