Monday, March 11: “A Matter of Perspective II”

1 Corinthians 11: 11, 12: “In the Lord, neither is woman independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as the woman originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman; and all things originate from God.”

This "Battle of the Sexes” has gone on for far too long. The way to end it is by mutual surrender: By each gender saying, “You are more important than we are” (Philippians 2: 3). The “Your gender has to serve my gender” vibe has to go. Listen to St. Paul; neither is independent of the other. God made both genders with one purpose, which is to work together for His glory. Can’t we try to see things from His perspective?
