Monday, November 13: “True Light Restores”
Matthew 13: 41: “The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness.”
All, from nations to religious groups to individuals, incur the wrath of God from time to time–when the light of His Word is ignored, and we stray from the ways which He set to bring us a joyful and satisfying life. However, His anger is not arbitrarily lethal; not due to any lack of power, but because of His abundant compassion. In Him alone we find an anger that is restorative, an anger intended to heal the breach between Him and His people. The light shining from His face restores any who seek it (Psalm 27: 8)
