“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:30-31)

The Decalogue (Ten Commandments) is summarized in Jesus' response to the scribe who asked what the greatest commandment is. Its first part is about how we relate to God and the second about how we relate to each other. We can only truly fulfill both if we have love.

The mission of our diocese is “To know God and to make Him known." We desire to have fellowship with Him and share the same with our neighbor because righteousness (right-relatedness with God) and justice (right-relatedness with our neighbor) are the foundation of God's throne. This is the way it is in His kingdom, and by His grace we live by it.
