Saturday, August 10: “Grace Working by Love”

Acts 4: 33-35a: “And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of lands or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales and lay them at the apostles’ feet.”

This story needs no explanation; just connect the dots. Abundant grace follows when God’s children give their all to the love of God and their fellow believers. If there be a lack of grace and power in the Church, any search for causation would need to start here.
