Saturday, February 15: “Definitely Restorable: All Nations”
Isaiah 61: 11; 62: 4a: “For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations … It will no longer be said to you, ‘Forsaken,’ nor to your land will it any longer be said, ‘Desolate’; but you will be called, ‘My delight is in her,’ and your land, ‘Married’.”
Although the story of mankind is a tale of back-and-forth, start-and-stop failed good intentions and shallow recommitments, God sees the end from the beginning. His promise of restoration and life in His Kingdom is irrevocable and beyond reconsideration. What He has promised, He will perform, and what He desires, He will bring to pass—for Abraham’s seed, and for all the nations.
