Saturday, March 23: “Trust in the Unseen”

2 Corinthians 4: 16, 18:“We do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. We look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen; for the things that are seen are temporal, but the things that are not seen are eternal.”

How can we not lose heart when we see our physical health, or that of our loved ones, shrink before our eyes? Because the health of soul and spirit are being ever-buoyed by an ever-increasing faith, as we trust in God to strengthen us that we might fulfill our purposes in Him. Any weakness we see, even death, is temporary, but our trust is in the life of Christ within us, which is everlasting.
