Saturday, May 27: “Trans-generational Heart Plans”
Psalm 33: 11: “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation.”
There’s something we need to understand about every one of God’s plans, from His commandments to His principles to His precepts, the plans upon which He bases His Kingdom–they all stem from His heart of love. Everything He commands us to do, to be … it’s motivated by love, and it’s for our good, that we may prosper; spirit, soul, and body. They are not the plans of a power-hungry egomaniac or a sadistic celestial kingpin, because that’s not God’s heart. Also, these plans never change. His Kingdom is not the means to an end, it is the end itself. The sooner we understand this, the sooner we can stop questioning, altering, or ignoring His plans. Live them, love them!
