Saturday, October 7: “Revival Proceeding”
2 Kings 19: 30, 31: “The surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward. For out of Jerusalem will go a remnant, and out of Mount Zion survivors. The zeal of the Lord will perform this.”
What was left of Judah had looked dead–stone dead–more than once. Perhaps you know the feeling. Isaiah had seen many a rise and many a fall, and he would yet see more. But might not this prophecy for Hezehiah’s generation apply to us, as well? We are in a day of taking root and bearing fruit, a procession of a remnant and survivors going forth to spread the love of God throughout the land. Revival is not coming; revival is here!
