Saturday, September 16: “Love + Purpose = Good, Pt. VI”
Psalm 138: 7, 8a: “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will accomplish what concerns me.”
Whatever incomprehensible circumstances you face, whatever pervading trouble, whatever demonic wrath, God’s promise is that He will work them all together for good. For these are not incidental, accidental, arbitrary events you find yourself battling, but divinely ordained happenings surrounding you, coming together to accomplish the fulfillment of His purpose for your life. That’s Bible. That’s truth. That’s the extent of God’s love for you. Trust in Him, and when you finally see the unseen, your love for Him will abound all the more.
