“God Intentions XXII” 

2 Corinthians 3: 9, 18: “For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory….We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”

The glory of the ministry of condemnation (the Law) was that it revealed to the people God’s image and character. The glory of the ministry of righteousness (the New Covenant) is that it reveals God’s intention, which is to transform His people into that same image; not just in imitation, which the Law tried unsuccessfully to do, but through a new creation, via a new heart and a new spirit. From glory to glory, indeed!
