Sunday, March 10: “A Matter of Perspective I”

Psalm 67: 1, 2: “God be gracious to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us–that Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations.”

You can believe that God’s grace and favor upon you are just because you’ve uniquely earned them, because you’ve irresistibly won His heart, or because He’s just that needy. That’s one perspective. Or you can realize that God’s purposes are bigger than your personal satisfaction, and that His plans, whether social, political, or spiritual, even the ones for you, involve every nation on the earth. It’s all a matter of perspective.
