Revelation 9: 13b-14a:“I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, ‘Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.’ And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released.” Who commanded the four angels to be released? The voice from the altar. Who had prepared them so meticulously? The voice from the altar. And while the language which follows is highly metaphorical, it is undeniable that what subsequentially transpires is no walk in the park. We must remember Whose voice brought it to pass: the voice of God, the One Who is good. When reading Revelation, that fact must always be in the front of your mind.
