“Thirsty Soul”

Psalm 42: 2:“My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God?” Now that the quarantine has loosened slightly, and we can come into the actual house of God occasionally, let us not be lazy! Like David, often hiding in the wilderness and unable to come into the sanctuary, our thirst for the Lord must drive us there whenever possible, even if it be, as in David’s case, a mere tent. Streaming has been a godsend, but let’s face it—there are things in the sanctuary that you cannot get in the sala.
