“God Intentions XXVI”

Psalm 37: 25: “I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his descendants begging bread.”

How can the righteous do as God intends, and keep their children from being beggars? For one thing, keep their Covenant with Jehovah Jireh, the great Provider. Then they, the unforsaken, will find their needs provided by the Lord. Secondly, as Solomon and Asaph tell us (Proverbs 22: 6; Psalm 78: 5-7), train our children to do the same, for God has ordained His Covenant from generation to generation, forever. The kids might not fully appreciate it at first, but when they themselves reach old age, they will look back and understand.
