Thursday, February 20: “Weak Understanding”

Mark 12: 24: “Jesus said to [the Pharisees], ‘Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand the scriptures or the power of God?”

To understand the scriptures is to understand that God is a God of power—all power. With Him, nothing is impossible. When we get away from this truth, we end up with pseudo-gods whom we make in our image and likeness, rather than the other way around.
