Thursday, October 12: “Liberating Conviction”
Psalm 142: 7: “Bring my soul out of prison, so that I may give thanks to Your Name; the righteous will surround me, for You will deal bountifully with me.”
Condemnation and guilt are like a prison, sapping our freedom in a way that only the forgiveness that we have in Christ can overcome. And how do we receive that forgiveness? By first heeding the conviction of the Holy Spirit which surrounds us, showing us a better way. As He leads us in the paths of righteousness through conviction, God deals bountifully with us.
