Tuesday, February 20: “God Intentions XXXI”

Psalm 45: 1: “My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verse to the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”

What is the theme of your praise and worship? What does your tongue have to say about the greatness and goodness of the King? This has nothing to do with tempo or chord progressions, but content: Where is the focus–What God has done for me? Or perhaps, What I have done (or seriously intend to do) for Him? These aren’t wrong, but perhaps a theme that would be better to use more frequently would be, What  He has done–period. The more the theme stays there, the higher the praise.
