“God Intentions XVII”

John 8: 11, 12: “Straightening up, Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?’ She said, ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said, ‘I do not condemn you, either.

Go. From now on sin no more.’” The Pharisees’ intentions for this woman were obvious; their motivations, not so much. Jesus revealed those motivations (to them,  not to us) with the words He wrote on the ground. His own intentions toward her were twofold: that she (and us) be without condemnation (Romans 8: 1) and that she (and us) stop sinning (1 Corinthians 6: 10, 11).
