Tuesday, November 21: “True Light’s Sowing”
“True Light’s Sowing”
Psalm 97: 10, 11: “Hate evil, you who love the Lord, Who preserves the souls of His godly ones; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light is sown like seed for the righteous and gladness for the upright in heart.”
God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1: 5b). And while He dwells in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6: 16), He neither fear nor separates Himself from the darkness (Psalm 97: 2); because He knows that we, His children, dwell in the midst of a sin-darkened world. So Hs comes in our midst sowing light and gladness (you can’t sow from a distance), that we might live as children of the Kingdom, sharing His light and bearing it ourselves to those who have yet to experience the True Light.
