Tuesday, October 24: “Fret Not over the Inglorious”
1 Corinthians 15: 49: “Just as we have borne the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.”
St. Paul mentioned previously in this chapter that God has created everything with a certain level of glory, but due to the fall, nothing or no one is at the level of glory that it once had (and will regain in the future). This includes humanity. All of us are at different stages on that path from Adam’s image to that of Christ; some at a place far below where we would prefer. Just know that the Lord’s hand is on them, and He knows how to lead them to that heavenly image.
