Wednesday, August 28: “When a Fool Doesn’t Believe” (with apologies to the Doobie Brothers)

Psalm 14: 1: “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; there is no one who does good.”

God has not left Himself without a witness (Acts 14: 17); even the heavens themselves proclaim His glory (Psalm 19: 1). So why would anyone deny His existence? Are they evil? Malicious? Corrupt? No, as David says, “merely foolish.”
