Wednesday, January 22: “Journey to Hidden Treasures”

Isaiah 45: 3: “I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by name.”

What activity did Jesus tell us to conduct in a place both secret and dark? You know the answer to that—prayer (Matthew 6: 6). And in that prayer closet (inner room) we find the rewards, the treasure, the wealth, of answered prayer.
