Wednesday, January 29: “Universal Assembly”

Isaiah 49: 6: “He says, ‘It is too small a thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make you a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

God is a communal God. This is shown in the Trinity Itself; one God in three Persons. It is shown in His desire, His mandate, that all nations come to Him. It is shown in the work of Christ, Who broke down the dividing wall between Jew and Gentile and created one holy nation of all mankind (Ephesians 2: 12-19). God will come to you in your individuality, but the more you dwell in Him, the stronger should grow your desire to fellowship with others of His children, as well, for that is His Nature, into which we are being transformed.
