Wednesday, July 17: “Merciful Greatness”

Romans 11: 30, 31: “For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy known to you they also may now be shown mercy.”

It takes a great God to use the disobedience of some to bring others into obedience, and the mercy given to some to cause those who had previously rejected that mercy to desire it once more. It boggles the mind! His great riches of wisdom and knowledge are but hinted at by His judgments and ways. Great is our God!
