Romans 2: 11: “For there is no partiality with God.” To be partial means to show more favor toward one person or group of people than to another. If God is impartial, does this mean that everyone gets the same treatment, the same favor, the same blessings? No, because God “will render to every man according to his deeds.” (v. 6) God is impartial in His judgments—He applies His dealings with each person according to the same standards. His standard of “if you … then I will … “ applies to all. When it comes to judgment, God is not sleeping!
