Wednesday, May 10: “Restored Creation”

Psalm 119: 93, 94: “I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me. I am Yours, save me, for I have sought your precepts.”

The precepts God gave to Adam and Eve in Eden were undeniably simple–yet the breaking of them produced a complex chain of decay, corruption, the loss of life, the loss of the Kingdom. The restoration of everything that was lost is equally simple–a reversal of the process of precept-breaking: precept seeking and keeping. Decay is reversed and creation is freed from corruption when mankind remembers God’s precepts, and manifests itself as sons and daughters of God (Romans 8: 19-22). God’s precepts–primary among them, love–is the key to ultimate restoration!
