Wednesday, November 27: “Beginningless Reign”

Ephesians 1: 4: “Just as He chose us in [Christ] before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.”

Even before the world existed, God had already chosen us in Christ, which means that Christ had already existed before that time. As St. John says, “He was in the beginning with God” (John 1: 2). Our King is immortal, having always existed. Know any other king who can make that claim?
